Homeowner Robbed in His Sleep

The burglar cut through a locked screen door, then entered through an unlocked interior door.

A Hampton Road resident was burglarized while he was sleeping last week.

The homeowner told Whitefish Bay police that someone entered his home near the intersection of Hampton Road and Santa Monica Boulevard  sometime between 1:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. on July 17.

The burglar cut the screen on a screen door, then unlocked the screen door and entered the home through an unlocked interior door. A jar of coins, as well as a wallet containing $80 and two credit cards, were taken from the kitchen.
