A Milwaukee native, graduate of Bay View High School, and resident of Whitefish Bay since 1986, Sandy Pasch currently represents Wisconsin’s 22<sup>nd</sup> Assembly district, which includes Shorewood, Whitefish Bay, Fox Point, Glendale, River Hills, and parts of Milwaukee.  Her husband Allan - a Whitefish Bay native - is a physician specializing in general and vascular surgery.  She also has three children - Lauren, Jimmy and Whitney - who all graduated from Whitefish Bay High School and are in various stages of higher education.

She holds an undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of Rochester and bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin.  She has been a practicing nurse since 1976 and has served for 15 years as Assistant Professor of Nursing at Columbia College of Nursing, instructing students in the fields of mental health, community health and ethics.

Sandy has coordinated Milwaukee&#39;s Crisis Intervention Team and was the founder of the Crisis Intervention Partner program.  She also served four terms as president of the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Greater Milwaukee, a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental illness.

Currently in Assembly, Sandy is ranking member on the Joint Legislative Council and serves on the Assembly Committees on Health and Public Health and Public Safety. 

Among other committees and boards, Sandy serves on the National Conference of State Legislatures’ Health Committee, Midwest Council of State Governments’ Health and Human Services Committee, UW Population Health Institute Advisory Board, State Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, and Wisconsin Women’s Council.
