Police Report: Stolen Seafood, Inappropriate Bathroom Activity

The latest Whitefish Bay police reports also include a smash-and-grab theft in the parking lot behind Starbucks.

Police were called to Bruegger's Bagels Friday night on a report of a 60-year-old Whitefish Bay man engaged in inappropriate activity in the bathroom. Police talked to the man after the incident at 8:17 p.m., and sent him a citation. He has been ordered not to use the building's restroom anymore. In other Whitefish Bay police news:

Police Report: Soda Thrown at Bicyclist; Theft From Vehicle

Last week, valuables were stolen from a vehicle on Berkeley Boulevard, and a bike was stolen from the middle school racks.

A Fox Point man was hit with a cup of soda while bicycling in the 5400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard at 2:43 p.m. June 20. The cup was thrown by a 15-year-old Shorewood boy sitting in the passenger seat of a mini-van. Police tracked the license plate number of the vechicle to reprimand the boy. Police Report: Smashed Pumpkins at United Methodist

Police also responded to two thefts from vehicles, a car vs. pedestrian accident and a Mequon man that had trouble calling a cab.

The Smashing Pumpkins played the Riverside Theater Thursday, but there was also a disheartening report of pumpkins smashed here in Whitefish Bay this past weekend. About 40 pumpkins were reportedly smashed outside of United Methodist Church Saturday night. The church is selling the pumpkins as a missions fundraiser through the end of the month. The smashed pumpkins blocked Silver Spring Drive in front of the church, and police responded at 5 a.m. Sunday to clear the roadway. The previous night, police stopped a 20-year old man chasing down a county bus at 10 p.m. with a pumpkin in tow. Police Report: Vehicle Break-Ins, Underage Drinking Party

Whitefish Bay police also responded to theft reports at Dominican and Whitefish Bay high schools.

Valuables were stolen from three vehicles last Monday night, according to this week's Whitefish Bay police logs. Two GPS devices were stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked inside of a locked garage in the 5200 block of North Idlewild Avenue sometime between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sept. 26. No signs of forced entry were observed on the garage. Two blocks west, in the 5200 block of North Diversey Boulevard, a resident reported $240 in CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The theft is believed to have occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 26 and 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 27. In other police news:
