Whitefish Bay Gynecologist Sentenced for Inappropriate Touching

Evan Saunders has been sentenced to a year in prison and three years of probation for inappropriate interactions with patients.

A Whitefish Bay gynecologist has been sentenced for inappropriately touching and talking to his patients. Evan Saunders, 48, was sentenced Thursday to a year in prison and three years of probation for inappropriate interactions with patients, according to online court records. Saunders was found guilty in September of four counts each of fourth-degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct.  Four women, ages 20 to 52, testified that Saunders touched them inappropriately and said inappropriate things about their sexual lives, according to an article in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Saunders denied some of the accusations made against him, according to the newspaper.

Gynecologist Found Guilty of Inappropriate Touching

Whitefish Bay resident Evan Saunders was found guilty of four misdemeanor counts of sexual assault and four misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct Friday afternoon.

A Whitefish Bay gynecologist has been found guilty of inappropriately touching his patients during medical appointments. Evan Saunders, 48, was found guilty of four counts of fourth degree sexual assault and four counts of disorderly conduct on Friday afternoon, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The jury found Saunders guilty of all charges brought forward by four women, who alleged Saunders touched their genitals in an inappropriate manner and made inappropriate sexual remarks, according to the newspaper. Saunders testified that some of the alleged conversations took place and were medical-related. He denied other statements the victims attributed to him, according to the newspaper.
