Update: The Architectural Review Commission on Thursday night tabled Amstar's exterior design plans, with the expectation that the gas station will return with revised renderings in the near future. Gene Harder, who owns the gas station, said his parents sold the property without his knowledge for financial reasons. He said his dad retired in 1997, and he has operated the business ever since.
