Emma Fallone Qualifies for U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

The Whitefish Bay senior plans to study history at Yale after graduation.

Whitefish Bay High School senior Emma Fallone is one of about 40 Wisconsin high school students and more than 3,000 students across the country to be nominated for the 2012 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Fallone was selected from nearly 3.2 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools this year. Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities. In addition to her high academic achievements, Fallone ran varsity cross country all four years and was one of the captains of the team in the fall. She is also a member of the varsity track team.
