Door-to-Door Magazine Solicitor Insults Police Officer

An aggressive Tennessee salesman prompted several calls to the police station, but the man didn't seem too concerned when an officer asked about his permit.

If you're selling magazines door to door, you might want to develop a bedside manner that doesn't include racial slurs and insulting police officers. Several Whitefish Bay residents called the police on July 24 to report an aggressive door-to-door solicitor selling magazine subscriptions without a solicitor's permit from the village. According to the report: A Whitefish Bay police officer approached the 31-year-old man from Memphis, TN in the 5100 block of Palisades Road on July 24, and he walked right past the officer, waved the officer off with his hand and told the officer he did not need to talk to her and that he did not have to identify himself.
