Two boys ran up behind a 15-year-old girl and stole her bag on Ardmore Avenue last week, according to Whitefish Bay police reports.
A 15-year-old Whitefish Bay girl was robbed of her shoulder bag while walking to band rehearsal at Whitefish Bay High School last week. The girl told police she was walking down the 4900 block of Ardmore Avenue when two boys ran up from behind her, took her shoulder bag, and left in a get-away vehicle around 7 p.m. Jan. 15, according to the police report. The girl was not able to identify the suspects. The girl told police she purchased the bag in Mexico for $15. Inside the bag was a piece of Whitefish Bay athletic apparel valued at $50 and a sheet music book valued at $100, according to the police report. Police are still on scene at the TCF Bank inside the Pick 'n Save on Silver Spring Drive.
Editor's Note: This article was last updated at 11:14 p.m. Dec. 3. TCF Bank, 1735 W. Silver Spring Dr., Glendale, was robbed at 1:42 p.m. Sunday. This bank location is inside the Pick 'n Save grocery store. Glendale Police Capt. Mark Ferguson said there was only one suspect involved and he passed a note to the bank teller. He did not imply nor did he show a weapon. The suspect left on foot. Glendale police are still investigating and are looking for a black male, in his early 20's, 5-foot-4-inches tall with a thin build wearing a gray hoodie, khaki pants and a black knit hat. Patch will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.

Three juveniles have been arrested in connection with the robbery, but no charges have been filed yet.
Two 18-year-old men from Whitefish Bay were robbed by five males early Sunday morning in the 5000 block of Marlborough Drive. One of the robbery victims called the police shortly after the incident at 12:42 a.m. Sunday. He told police the robbers, who were approximately 16 years old, forcibly stole two wallets and an iPhone then fled the scene in a beige Dodge Stratus. The vehicle, which was later determined to be stolen, was gone by the time police arrived. After the robbery in Whitefish Bay Sunday, the Milwaukee Police Department later apprehended three juveniles and linked the suspects to the robbery in Whitefish Bay. After forcibly stealing items from two women in broad daylight last week, the three Milwaukee males have been charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
Three Milwaukee teenagers have been charged for their alleged involvement with two robberies in Whitefish Bay on Aug. 9. In the first robbery, a 29-year-old woman's grocery bags were forcibly taken from her while she was walking on Birch Avenue near Shoreland Avenue at about 5 p.m. The two male suspects wore bandanas over their mouth, and were driven away by a third suspect. Nearly two hours later, the same suspects snatched a purse from a 66-year-old woman on Lake View Avenue between Consaul Place and Santa Monica Boulevard. According to police:

Three teenage boys are suspected of forcibly taking a purse and groceries from two women in separate incidents Thursday afternoon.
Two women were robbed in broad daylight Thursday afternoon in separate incidents on Birch and Lake View avenues. The first robbery, which took place at about 5 p.m., occurred on Birch Avenue near Shoreland Avenue. A 29-year-old woman walking down the sidewalk said a young man wearing a yellow bandana over his mouth approached her and demanded the two shopping bags in her hands. The suspect forcibly took one of the bags from her, and she surrendered the second bag. He then ran into the alley of the 5400 block of Shoreland Avenue, where a light blue mini-van was waiting for him. The vehicle headed south through the alley. Whitefish Bay police originally arrested the man in connection to a strong arm robbery at Harder's Shell station.
A Whitefish Bay man is facing drug charges after he was arrested in Milwaukee on suspicion of being involved in a robbery. Scott Lee Sanford Jr., 27, was originally sought by Whitefish Bay police in connection with a strong arm robbery at Harder's Shell service station at 303 E. Hampton Road on Monday. A gas station employee stated that a subject threatened to beat him and took $454 in cash from the register, according to police reports. On Tuesday, Whitefish Bay police arrested Sanford in the 5700 block of North 39th Street in Milwaukee. Although there was insufficient evidence to charge Sanford in the robbery, officers discovered marijuana in his front pocket.
