Blessed husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and loyal friend. Edward Leo Sweeney was born August 18, 1922 in Reedsburg, WI and born to eternal life on May 8, 2013. Edward was the youngest of six children born to the late Edward and Ida (nee Byrne) Sweeney. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he worked for the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Co., retiring as Director of City Sales after a 35 year career. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Frances Marion Sweeney (nee Graessle) of Glendale; daughter Mary Ellen of Highland Park, ILL. and sons James (Rita) and Patrick (Candace) both of Milwaukee. Joan M. Plant (nee Kleczka) entered into Eternal Life on March 28, 2013 at the age of 61. Plant was a resident of Whitefish Bay, and a beloved daughter of Richard S. and Shirley A. (nee Srnec) Kleczka. Loving sister of Janet A. Lorenz. Dear aunt of Brandon (Valerie) Lorenz and great-aunt of James Lorenz. A long-time Fox Point resident who formerly lived in Whitefish Bay, Paquette entered Eternal Life on March 21, 2013 at Elizabeth Residence in Bayside. She was 92; proceeded in death by husband Louis James Paquette on Feb. 5, 2000. Born in International Falls, Minnesota, raised in Fort Francis Ontario Canada, Jane Paquette (nee Tiefenbacher) enjoyed throughout her high school years the outdoor life of the Rainey Lake area on her parents’ summer island, and the snowy fun of skating and curling on the frozen lake in town. She traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to attend the St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1941. Dr. John Dooley died peacefully on Sunday, one week after the funeral service of his beloved wife, Carol. He left this world surrounded by his children and their spouses. John was a resident of St. John’s on the Lake in Milwaukee for the last 10 years of his life; before that he lived in Shorewood and Whitefish Bay. He was an active parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Cathedral. John was born on October 12, 1926, the youngest of five children born to Edward and Ruth Dooley.
