North Shore Republicans Open Campaign Office on Silver Spring

The GOP victory center has opened at the vacant storefront previously occupied by Mobility.

With the recall election targeting Gov. Scott Walker just over a month away, political organizations on both sides of the aisle are opening temporary campaign offices across the state. The North Shore Republicans recently opened its latest 'victory center' at a vacant storefront at 324 E. Silver Spring Dr. The storefront was previously home to Mobility, which left Whitefish Bay in early August. The North Shore Republicans' office put up campaign signs Thursday without a conditional use permit, and on Monday, Whitefish Bay Village Manager Patrick DeGrave said he plans to notify the organization that it needs to go before the Whitefish Bay Plan Commission at its May 16 meeting for village permission to use the space.
