Owner Rose Niles plans to offer soups, sandwiches and small plate options for lunch. For dinner, it would offer Italian food and Spanish small plate dishes. Last week, we told you that plans for a Chick-fil-A in Greendale have been put on the back burner, but that things are full speed ahead for another new restaurant in that village. Construction is under way for the Panther Pub & Eatery, which will be located on Broad Street in downtown Greendale. The second half of 2012 has seen significant changes to the eatery landscape in Whitefish Bay. Last week’s announcement of plans for a full-service restaurant and bar called The Bay in the former El Guapo location was met by Patch users with mostly high praise. A new chicken wing restaurant has opened up just a couple blocks south of Bayshore Town Center. Wingstop, the national chicken wing chain with more than 530 locations, opened its newest Milwaukee-area restaurant today at 5326 North Port Washington Road in Glendale. It is located just south of McDonald's in the building that also houses Gyro Palace. The first Wingstop was opened last year by Brookfield resident Kurt Hodermann at 2086 S. Miller Parkway.
