The parade will begin at 5:45 p.m., traveling down Marlborough Drive until reaching Lubar Field, where the Blue Dukes will face Homestead at 7 p.m.
Homecoming festivities include the parade, tailgate and – of course – the big game against Milwaukee Lutheran.
Homecoming is only a couple weeks away, and a week full of festivities are planned, including the Friday night football game on Sept. 16. The homecoming parade will be held that Friday at 5:30 p.m. on Marlborough Drive from East Birch Avenue to East Fairmount Avenue. Some side streets will be closed for brief periods. After the parade, the community is invited to join in the Duke Pride spirit at the eighth annual community tailgate and silent auction on the high school softball field from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Jack Pandl's Whitefish Bay Inn will cater the event, serving brats, hot dogs, chips, drinks and desserts.
