Four people were cited Saturday for stealing decorations of snowmen, Snoopy and Santa Claus himself.
Last week's Whitefish Bay police reports read like a scene straight out of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Four people were cited at 3:30 a.m. Saturday for stealing Christmas decorations from three homes in the 4900 block of Ardmore Avenue: a wooden snowman and cloth Santa Claus door decoration from one house, a stuffed red-and-white Snoopy decoration from another house and garland from another house. The vehicle, a silver Audi, was stopped by Shorewood police in the 3900 block of Morris Boulevard. A 21-year-old Madison man, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man, a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman were cited for theft. In other Whitefish Bay police news:
