Police Report: Stolen Wallets, Drunk Driving

Whitefish Bay police also received a report of a man being pushed down and kicked in the ribs in the alley behind a Henry Clay apartment building.

After several traffic violations, a 37-year-old Whitefish Bay woman was cited for drunken driving early Saturday morning. A Whitefish Bay officer cited the driver after she failed to stop at a flashing red light at Lake Drive and Silver Spring Drive, and then proceeded to cross the center line on Diversey Boulevard, just south of Birch Avenue. She was stopped in the 5200 block of Diversey Boulevard at 12:54 a.m. Saturday and ticketed for her first drunken driving offense. In other Whitefish Bay police news:

Christmas Decorations Stolen on Ardmore Avenue

Four people were cited Saturday for stealing decorations of snowmen, Snoopy and Santa Claus himself.

Last week's Whitefish Bay police reports read like a scene straight out of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Four people were cited at 3:30 a.m. Saturday for stealing Christmas decorations from three homes in the 4900 block of Ardmore Avenue: a wooden snowman and cloth Santa Claus door decoration from one house, a stuffed red-and-white Snoopy decoration from another house and garland from another house. The vehicle, a silver Audi, was stopped by Shorewood police in the 3900 block of Morris Boulevard. A 21-year-old Madison man, a 24-year-old Milwaukee man, a 22-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 23-year-old Milwaukee woman were cited for theft. In other Whitefish Bay police news:
