Fox 6 Video: Blind Eye Doesn't Stop Whitefish Bay Football Player

Although he can't see out of his left eye, Junior Dukes football player Dylan MacFarlan says he is inspired to play football because it bonds him with his cancer-stricken father.

Football has a way of bringing families together, especially Whitefish Bay's MacFarlan family. As Patch's media partner Fox 6 presents in this gripping feature story, Whitefish Bay eighth-grader Dylan MacFarlan decided to go out for the Junior Dukes football team, even though he cannot see out of his left eye. Football games and practices have strengthened the bond he shares with his father Dan, who has chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a cancer of the blood.
