Police Report: Home Burglary on Elkhart Avenue

Whitefish Bay police also responded to reports of stolen liquor and an angry high school parent this week.

A 14-year-old Shorewood boy and a 14-year-old Milwaukee boy were arrested Friday night after they were caught stealing from a home on the 5000 block of North Elkhart Avenue. The residents reported arriving home at about 5:45 p.m., when they saw the two boys flee through the back door, run through their backyard and into their neighbor’s yard. The stolen property – two watches, credit cards and $20 in change – was later recovered when Shorewood police arrested the boys. The boys were transported to the Milwaukee Children’s Court Center.   In other police news:

Police Report: Teen Mugged Saturday Night

Mugging, burglary and OWI are among the reports Whitefish Bay police responded to in the last week.

A 14-year-old Whitefish Bay boy was robbed of his wallet and cell phone at the corner of Birch Avenue and Berkeley Boulevard Saturday night. The boy later reported the strong armed robbery when he got home at 11:30 p.m. When a police officer returned to the area of the robbery, he found the boy's broken cell phone in the parking lot behind Fox Bay Cinema Grill. The suspects were described as a Hispanic male in his early to mid-20s wearing a black hoodie and baggie black jeans, and a large white male in his early to mid 20s, also wearing a black jacket and baggie black jeans. Police Report: One Burglary, Four Vehicle Break-Ins

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

A laptop, computer tower and clothing were stolen from a home in the 4800 block of North Anita Avenue Saturday night. Police did not discover any signs of forced entry in the burglary, which is believed to have taken place between 9 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. Saturday night. The resident said she believes she knows who the suspects are and believes they may have used her keys to enter the home because her keys were missing. In addition to the burglary, four more thefts from vehicles were reported this week:

Police Report: Burglary Nets Almost $10,000 in Electronics, Other Items

The latest reports from the Whitefish Bay Police Department.

Almost $9,800 in video games, electronics and other items were stolen in a burglary in the 6100 block of North Shoreland Avenue on Wednesday. The resident, a 39-year-old woman, told police the burglary likely happened sometime between 7:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Police found signs of forced entry through a rear window. There have been no arrests, but a Glendale landscaping company is listed as a suspect in the police report. In other police news:
