Former Whitefish Bay Barber Guilty of Child Pornography Charges

Former Sport 'n Cuts owner David Foley was convicted Thursday of producing child pornography of underage boys.

A barber who used to cut hair on Silver Spring Drive was convicted Thursday on federal charges of producing child pornography of underage boys. David Foley, the former owner of Sport 'n Cuts at 402 E. Silver Spring, was found guilty of three counts of production of child pornography, one count of transportation of a minor across state lines to engage in a sex act, one count of distribution of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography. Foley faces 15 to 160 years in federal prison. He will be sentenced on Feb. 15. Foley was charged one year ago with sexually abusing a 14-year-old boy at his Whitefish Bay barbershop, in his Shorewood apartment and at a hotel near the Mall of America near Minneapolis. Former Barbershop Owner Pleads Not Guilty to Bail Jumping Charges

David Foley waives preliminary hearing in bail jumping case; paperwork still being filed in federal child pornography case.

A former Whitefish Bay barber pleaded not guilty to bail jumping charges that were brought about after investigators allegedly discovered he produced child pornography videos. David Foley, 49, of Shorewood, waived his preliminary hearing Friday and Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Hansher found probable cause to believe he committed a felony and bound him over for trial. Foley, who used to own Sport ‘N Cuts on Silver Spring Drive, allegedly violated the terms of his bail in an identity fraud case that he was convicted of last year by producing, distributing and possessing child pornography.
