The Week Ahead in Whitefish Bay

The Whitefish Bay Farmers Market and summer concerts are just a few of the fun events to look forward to this week.

If you're headed downtown for Bastille Days Sunday, check out Whitefish Bay High School seniors Brendan Demet and Isaac Young perform in the jam band . The guys play at 7 p.m. on the Kilbourn stage.

If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids, has a full slate of activities this week, including "Buddies, Books and Movies" from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Monday, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Come and listen to the sounds of Tweed Funk in Hubbard Park Thursday night at . The music starts at 6:30 p.m.

It's that time of year again! . The second annual open air market begins at 8 a.m. at Berkeley Boulevard and Silver Spring Drive and lasts through noon. The market is a family-focused community event with local vendors selling fresh and organic produce, meats, eggs, and honey and varying themes, educational activities, and entertainment, including music, dancing, and crafts.

Also on Saturday, students from Whitefish Bay Recreation Department's summer programs will perform a variety of music from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday during theΒ  at the Bayshore Town Center.
