Church Planning a Hunger Relief Effort for Haiti

Christ Church in Whitefish Bay is working with Worldwide Hunger Relief to send food packages to Haiti.

Next weekend, children as young as 3 years old will work side by side with adults at in Whitefish Bay to send food packages to Haiti through an organization called Worldwide Hunger Relief.

The food pack is an intergenerational event, with kids as young as 3 or 4 years old participating side by side with elderly volunteers.

Volunteers of all faith are welcome at the food packs. What started as a Lutheran project has quickly grown, and now a partnership has been formed with the Muslim community. In January, the Islamic Society of Milwaukee hosted a food pack to benefit the children in Haiti.
