Whitefish Bay Farmers Market Kicks Off Saturday

If you're looking for unique local food and family-friendly fun, head to the Whitefish Bay Farmers Market at Berkeley Boulevard at Silver Spring Drive this Saturday morning.

This is the third year the Whitefish Bay Business Improvement District has organized the open air farmers market, which offers organic produce, meats, eggs, honey, flowers, homemade treats and more. Most of last year's vendors are returning this year, and the market is also adding about six new vendors.

The market also features children's crafts, educational activities, cooking demonstrations and live entertainment. This year, the will offer storytime at 9 a.m. on most of the weekends.

The market will feature a different host every week. This week's host is the Whitefish Bay AFS Chapter.
