Whitefish Bay Fourth of July celebration
This free event begins with a parade at 11:30 a.m. on July 4, and continues with an afternoon festival at Klode Park starting at 1 p.m.
The 4th of July in Whitefish Bay is a daylong celebration, with a parade, kids' games, music, food – and of course – fireworks.
The 27th annual Whitefish Bay 4th of July Parade route begins on Kent & Silver Spring, East to Lake, North to Klode Park. The Parade features over 60 entries, and the grand marshal will be Whitefish Bay High School Principal Bill Henkle.
The festival at Klode Park will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., including a face painting tent, mini bowling, a fishing game, bean bag toss, a lollipop pull game, an octopus ring toss game and more. The tennis courts will be converted to a sports area with a basketball game, a football throwing game and a miniature golf course.
The fun continues all afternoon into the evening with live music from local bands like 5 Card Studs, Stray Voltage, Southbound and Pink Houses. Enjoy food from Red Truck Sliders, Jack Pandls, Saz's, Jake's Corned Beef, Stone Cold Creamery, Enoch Carnival Food, as well as beer and soda from the Civic Foundation tent. The annual fireworks show starts at dusk."
