1,600 People Eat Ice Cream in the Park

The first ice cream social of the summer was the biggest in Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation history, serving ice cream and root beer floats to a record 1,600 people.

Old Schoolhouse Park was packed with families who ate ice cream, caught up with neighbors and enjoyed the sounds of the Whitefish Bay Community Band. By the end of the night, the Civic Foundation served 264 pounds of ice cream, 15 gallons of root beer, 1.5 gallons of chocolate syrup and 15 pounds of sprinkles. 

The next ice cream social will be held on August 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
