Whitefish Bay Hosts Nicolet Friday in Rugby Playoffs
Winner advances to high school state tournament.
Whitefish Bay High School's boys rugby team, the Berserkers, lost their first game of the season last week to rival Nicolet. .
The teams square off again in the playoffs at 5 p.m. Friday at Armory Field in Whitefish Bay. Friday's winner advances to the state tournament.
Each team is 5-1, as is Muskego. Only the top two teams in the Badgerland Conference advance to the four-team state finals, May 21 in Madison. Nicolet beat Whitefish Bay 38-26 in the earlier meeting, also at Whitefish Bay.

Armory Field is at Whitefish Bay High School, immediately east of the football/soccer stadium. There is no admission charge.
