Watch North Shore Stars Play in NCAA Tournament Today

Marquette takes on Penn State and could face top-seeded Wake Forest next.

Five women's soccer standouts from Whitefish Bay and Shorewood play for Marquette in the second round of the NCAA women's soccer championships at 4 p.m. CST today.

The Golden Eagles' match with Penn State will be played in Winston-Salem, NC and can be watched live online via Wake Sports University's website.

Marquette players from the North Shore are Shorewood twins Cara Jacobson and Emily Jacobson, both sophomores, along with freshman Mary Luba.

Whitefish Bay is represented by another pair of sisters, junior Sam Vicker and freshman Mady Vicker.

Cara Jacobson has four goals and Mary Luba three; Emily Jacobson and Mady Vicker each have one goal. Sam Vicker has made eight appearances for the Golden Eagles (18-3-0), who would face the winner of Boston College and top-seeded Wake Forest on Sunday with a victory.
