Rugby Club Starts Pre-Season With a Win
Whitefish Bay Berserkers earn 44-5 win over club from Lake Forest, Ill.
The Whitefish Bay Berserkers rugby club beat the New Trier High School rugby club in a pre-season matchup Sunday.
The Berserkers won with a score of 44-5 on New Trier's home turf in Lake Forest, Ill., with trys by Hunter Short, Jeff Cebe, Will Shanley, and Taylor Young.
Team manager Cindy Hoff said the Berserkers have 14 returning seniors that will be a huge force in their rearranged confrence this year. Returning seniors are Cebe, Short, Young, Taylor Hoff, Bobby Rinka, Colin West, Alec Forrer, Henry Dixon, Larry Wilson,Peter Stumm,Tommy Henrichs, Raymell Boston, Zack Domjen and Jamie Klett.

The Berserkers rugby club is made up of Whitefish Bay High School students but is not affiliated with the school district.
The team will face off against Muskego in its home opener at 5 p.m. April 14 at Cahill Square Park.
