Major League Baseball legends took some time to share tips with about 200 lucky little sluggers Saturday morning at Craig Counsell Park.

The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association's Legends for Youth baseball clinic featured Jimmy Wynn, Paul Wagner, Bill Campbell, Don August, Wes Chamberlain, Joe Hernandez, Ted Lang and Willie Mueller. The players shared their baseball skills, drills, and life lessons for Whitefish Bay Little League players ages six through 16.

This is the third year the clinic has been held in Whitefish Bay. It is held in honor of Greg Loyda, a former Little League coach who passed away in 2010.

“Greg Loyda coached at every level of WFB Little League, from PeeWee through All-Stars," said Little League President Josh Levy. "His love of baseball and little league is honored each year through the efforts of Hanover Insurance, where he worked, and Chuck Steinmetz, his good friend.
