Little Leaguers Win District Championship
With a big win over Grafton, Whitefish Bay advances to the state tournament in Waupun this weekend.
Whitefish Bay Little League's U12 All-Stars beat Grafton 12-2 Monday to win the District 1 championship.
With the big win, Whitefish Bay advances to the state tournament in Waupun. Whitefish Bay has made it to the state tournament about six times, with the last trip in 2010.
At the state tournament, teams play every day from Saturday through Wednesday.
This is Whitefish Bay's schedule:
- Saturday vs. Appleton, 1 p.m.
- Sunday vs. Antigo, 3:30 p.m.
- Monday vs. District 6 champions, 5:30 p.m.
- Tuesday vs. District 3 champions, 6 p.m.
- Wednesday vs. District 4 champions, 5:30 p.m.
