Jackson Weber Recognized for Defensive Accomplishments

WisSports bestowed the Jim Leonhard award on Jackson Weber, who has led the Blue Dukes' historic season on both offense and defense.

Whitefish Bay's Jackson Weber was named the top senior defensive back in Wisconsin, according to WisSports.net

WisSports announced Wednesday that Weber received the Jim Leonhard award, which is named after the University of Wisconsin alumni who now plays for the Denver Broncos.

Weber has received All-Conference honors at both receiver and defensive back in his career. In his senior year, Weber racked up 121 tackles (77 solo), 5 interceptions, and 11 pass break-ups, according to WisSports. He returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown and also blocked two kicks.
