Girls Cross Country Team Wins Conference – Again
The girls cross country team won their 13th straight title, and Nate Gomoll won the boys race at the North Shore Conference meet on Saturday.
The girls cross country team won their 13th straight conference title at the North Shore Conference meet in Saukville Saturday.
"I am very proud of the girls teams' consistent pursuit of excellence," said coach Mike Miller. "The goal for our team on day one of practice is to win the North Shore Conference Championship and then the following week qualify at Sectionals for the Division 1 WIAA State Meet. This has become our tradition of excellence."
In the boys division, senior Nate Gomoll finished in first place, and Whitefish Bay took fourth overall.

The boys and girls will now advance to sectionals competition hosted by Marquette University High School on Saturday at Washington Park, 1859 N. 40th Street, Milwaukee. Boys will start at 11 a.m. and girls will start at 11:45 a.m.
The following teams will participate: Cudahy/Saint Francis, Divine Savior Holy Angels (Girls), Greenfield, Marquette University (Boys), Milwaukee Arts/ Bay View/ Carmen/ Juneau/ Lifelong Learning/ Pulaski, Milwaukee Bradley
Tech/ Hamilton/ Riverside/ South, Milwaukee King, Wauwatosa East, Wauwatosa West, West Allis Central, West Allis Nathan Hale, Whitefish Bay and Whitnall.
