Whitefish Bay Slugger Helps Team Win the World Series

The Milwaukee Angels U10 baseball team just won the world series, and a Whitefish Bay boy helped make it happen.

One Whitefish Bay slugger helped his baseball team, the Milwaukee Angels U10, win the American Amateur Youth Baseball Alliance World Series in St. Louis, and our media partners at Fox6 News got the inside scoop on the accomplishment.

Whitefish Bay's Mason Wendt, joined by his teammates from all over southeastern Wisconsin, was a part of a dramatic come-from-behind victory during the tournament in St. Louis, MO from July 8-13.Β  After losing their first game to the St. Louis Pirates, the team stole the show for the rest of the tournament, taking home the glory.

There were 90 teams from all over the United States competing, and the Milwaukee Angels say they’ll remember this for the rest of their lives.Β
