Bay Girls Compete in Sweet 16 Tennis Tournament

Lily Hayes, Asia Butler, Elena Ouimet and Carly Theder all had big wins in the tournament on Friday and Saturday.

After a win against Port Washington Thursday afternoon, the Whitefish Bay girls tennis team competed in the Nicolet Sweet 16 Tournament Friday and Saturday.

The team lost a couple close first-round matches to Arrowhead and lost to Arrowhead overall. The Blue Dukes then won three matches in a row against Kenosha Tremper, Green Bay Southwest, and Kettle Moraine.

Because the girls lost the first match, they were only able to bounce back to 9th place.
