The Whitefish Bay boys 400 Meter Relay team finished near the top of the podium Saturday at the WIAA State Track and Field meet Saturday at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex in La Crosse.
The relay team of Rashadeem Gray, Tommy Friesch, Rashad Gray, and Bryan Jordan qualified for the finals Friday with a time of 42.49 seconds, which was nearly a full second off the pace set by Green Bay Preble.
On Saturday, the two teams drew closer, but Bay was still bested by the boys from Green Bay. Here's how the results panned out Saturday:
- Green Bay Preble, 0:41.98
- Whitefish Bay, 0:42.23
- Appleton North, 0:42.62
