4th Quarter Comeback Puts Whitefish Bay Past Nicolet

The Whitefish Bay boys basketball team won its first conference game of the season Tuesday night, putting the Blue Dukes at a 3-0 overall record.

After trailing throughout the entire game, the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes led a 30-point offensive charge in the fourth quarter to pull off a come-from-behind 66-51 victory over Nicolet in their first conference game of the season.

After the win on Nicolet's home court Tuesday night, the Blue Dukes remain undefeated with a 3-0 record so far this season. Nicolet's record is now 0-1 in the North Shore Conference, and 0-3 overall.

Whitefish Bay sophomore Miles Sigh led Whitefish Bay's scoring with 17 points, followed by senior Kelin Johnson (16), junior Joe Sherburne (12), junior Jake Casey (9) and senior Bryan Jordan (8), according to WisSports.net

Nicolet's scoring was led by senior Tyler Miller (17), followed by junior Greg Pigg (14) and senior Treland Jenkins (8), according to WisSports.net.

North Shore Conference basketball action will resume on Friday night, when the Blue Dukes play at Germantown and Nicolet plays Homestead at home.
