Green Bay Packers, UFOs and “Catching Fire”@ the Library

Fall has finally arrived! Along with the changing of the leaves, fall also brings football and the Green Bay Packers. Packers will face off against the New York Giants in the coming weeks. To get into the spirit come hear author Jim Rice talk on Thursday, November 14 @ 6:30pm. Jim will tell us about the 84-year old rivalry between the two teams.  Jim is the author of "Giant Cheeseheads!: The Giant-Packer Rivalry and the Former Giants Who Helped the Packers Become Champions."

Football isn’t your thing? Do you enjoy exploring the unexplained? Stop by for author Richard Thieme, who is a contributing author and editor of "UFOS and Government: A Historical Inquiry." Richard will discuss how the military and intelligence communities have responded to UFOs. Richard, an author and professional speaker, will be at the library on Thursday, November 21 @ 6:30pm.

We also have a class to get you moving in the morning. Get ready for Qi Gong, a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing, and meditation, on Friday, November 8 @ 10am. This free session will be led by Mary Reynolds, who received her Master’s in the Science of Oriental Medicine, and has been a registered nurse for 25 years and an acupuncturist in Wisconsin since 2009. Mary will be back to teach us some Acupressure on Thursday, November 14 @ 10am.
