VIDEO: A Little Bit of Ghana Comes to Whitefish Bay
African drumming group visits the high school this afternoon before their big concert tonight at UW-M's Zelazo Center.
Students from Whitefish Bay High School's world drumming class and other high school students were able to play along side Ghanaian Master drummer Sowah Mensah and his African music ensemble from Macalester College in St. Paul during their lunch hour Friday.
The Macalester College African Music Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at UW-Milwaukee's Zelazo Center. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 for students.
The group will also perform at the 10:30 a.m. worship service at North Shore Congregational Church on Sunday.
