Student Council Members Take on State Leadership Roles

Whitefish Bay senior Thomas Aiken and eighth grader Vlada Kot appeared on The Morning Blend Friday morning for their leadership in regional and statewide student council organizations.

Two Whitefish Bay students recently received some local television attention for their leadership in student council organizations.

Whitefish Bay students lead the state student council on both the high school and middle school levels.

Whitefish Bay senior Thomas Aiken, who has been involved in student council since 6th grade, is now serving his second term as president of the Wisconsin Association of School Councils. Eighth grade student Vlada Kot serves as the president of the middle school division.

Both Aiken and Kot appeared on TMJ4's Morning Blend with student council advisor Patti Lynch Friday morning. 

Additionally, Whitefish Bay holds six of the eight leadership positions available in a metro-Milwaukee Milwaukee student council association. Aiken and Kot serve as presidents of the region, while Kyra Fox serves as the region's high school vice president, and Sarah Spector and Eunah Cha serve as the regional middle school vice president and secretary, respectively.
