School District Focus Group Sign-up Ends Today

Community input sessions will be held to shape district's vision for the future.

Tuesday is the last day to sign up for a one-hour focus group that will guide the Whitefish Bay School District in shaping its long-term plan.

The district is in the midst of its updating the district's Focus Plan, which was created in 2001. Whitefish Bay School District Superintendent Mary Gavigan said the plan needs to be updated to reflect a changing world.

To do so, the district has formed a visioning and planning team that has developed some initial ideas.Β

The district also hopes to bring in additional voices from the community at large, so it will host a series of focus groups in late April and early May, with specific dates and times to be determined.

For those interested in participating in a focus group, please contact Kellie Sigh, Secretary to the District Administrator, no later than Tuesday at 963-3901 or email at Kellie.Sigh@wfbschools.com.
