The Blue Dukes scored 141.450 and joined runner-up Elkhorn in advancing to the team state competition next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids. The top five finishers in each individual event compete in Friday's individual finals.
"We started out a little shaky, on the beam, we had just one (score of) 9," said coach Mary Liniewinski. "We've got to fine tune a few things, I'm proud that the girls got through it. We had a lot of sickness the last two weeks, flu swept through our team. The girls are starting to finally feel healthy."
