Meet Andrea Cramey, Cumberland's New First Grade Teacher

After growing up in Shorewood and attending Holy Family in Whitefish Bay, Mrs. Cramey is excited to return to Whitefish Bay to teach first grade at Cumberland School.

The Whitefish Bay School District hired 22 new teachers this year, and Whitefish Bay Patch hopes to introduce all of them to the community before the school year gets underway.

You can read their stories here.

Do you have any connection to Whitefish Bay? I grew up attending Holy Family School in WFB and have fond memories of the area: going to , playing at , watching the fireworks at , and of course seeing the every fall! Β I am thrilled to be teaching in Whitefish Bay and to feel connected to such a wonderful, family-oriented community again!

Hobbies: I have a background in art and have been especially interested in photography lately.

Favorite place you've visited: I love to travel and have been to many exciting destinations, however my favorite was when I traveled through Europe just after I graduated from UW Madison. My favorite places were Rome (of course due to the history, art, and food!) and Interlaken, Switzerland (where I went rafting, canyoning, and paragliding!)
