Join Patch's Free Picnic Lunch at Run the Bay

Patch will be serving up food and kids games during the 5k run/walk event Saturday morning. Duke Pride will also hold a rummage sale after the race.

It's been a year and a half since Whitefish Bay Patch started, and to thank all of our newsletter subscribers and the community for your support, we are throwing a free picnic lunch.

That's right, Patch is teaming up with the Whitefish Bay Public Education for the Saturday morning by serving up free brats, hot dogs and lemonade to participants from the west entrance near the Community Garden. We will also be hosting kids games like bean bag toss and mini-putt, so stop on by and enjoy the fun.

We're excited to be involved with such a healthy, family-friendly event that raises money for public education. We're expecting warm weather, and a good turnout for Run the Bay and the Duke Pride rummage sale with gently-used athletic equipment from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the high school field house. The Wisconsin Athletic Club will also be providing post-race massages, kid dance and kid yoga on the football field.
