Fun in The Mud! Charger Challenge Registration is Open

Online registration is now open for the grimy, obstacle-laden Charger Challenge mud run in September.

The Charger Challenge is a 4K mud run with more obstacles planned this year. It's an annual event sponsored by the Hamilton Education Foundation, and all proceeds fund grants and other improvements in the Hamilton School District.

The event starts at 9 a.m. in the Town of Lisbon Community Park. Waves will be run every 20 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. There’s even a shorter Charger Kids Challenge geared towards children ages 6-10 with plenty of mud and obstacles.

The run isn't as intense as the Though Mudder or Dirty Girl runs that feature fire and electric fences. In fact, participants don't need to be fitness buffs. They just need to be willing to get muddy.

If you are interested in participating in the race, you can be the early bird and register online today.
