Former Blue Dukes Competing in College Athletics

Find out how some members of the Class of 2012 are doing as college freshmen.

Whitefish Bay athletes are used to success, which leads to many of them participating in college. Here is an update on some members of the Class of 2012 as they embark on college careers:

Freshman Lindsey Agnew played five games for the University of Calgary women’s basketball team. Her only 3-point attempt of the season led to her only points.

Also off to Canada is Anders Bjella, playing for the McGill University lacrosse team.  Full statistics were not available but he was credited with at least two goals during the season.

Another top sprinter from last year’s Blue Dukes team, James Stecker, is running at UW-Madison. The Badgers won the Big Ten Indoor Championship; Stecker ran in two varsity events as an “unattached” competitor, finishing second in the Red and White Open on Feb. 15.
