With the election season under way, this is what every Whitefish Bay resident needs to know about voting in the Aug. 14 primary.

We want to make sure you've got all the information you need before hitting the voting booth on Tuesday, Aug. 14. See below for information on the upcoming election and a breakdown of every race, with links to individual candidate profiles.

Sample ballot: Download the sample ballot from the Village of Whitefish Bay web site.

Polling locations: Whitefish Bay has four polling locations for 12 wards. Find out which ward you are in by looking at the ward boundaries map or looking at the ward address list. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Here's where you'll go to cast your vote:

Wards 1-4: , 5420 N. Marlborough Dr.

Wards 5, 6: , 5300 N. Marlborough Dr.

Wards 7-9: , 5205 N. Lydell Ave. 

Wards 10-12: , 4950 N. Woodruff Ave.

Early voting:

Download the application for an absentee ballot. You can also e-mail the Deputy Village Clerk at k.chadwick@wfbvillage.org. The deadline to vote absentee is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10. Visit the village's absentee voter web page for more information.

    • Both candidates are uncontested.

    8th State Senate District

  • Alberta Darling (R)

    • This race is uncontested.

    23rd State Assembly District

  • Jim Ott (R)
  • Cris Rogers (D)

    • Both candidates are uncontested.

    Milwaukee County District Attorney

  • John Chisholm (D)

    • This race is uncontested.

    Milwaukee County Clerk

  • Joseph Czarnezki (D)

    Milwaukee County Treasurer
