New Trustee Creates Informational Blog
Lauri Rollings aims to improve communication by writing about local government issues and holding office hours with residents.
Another Village Trustee is joining the blogosphere.
Newly-elected Whitefish Bay Trustee Lauri Rollings has created a blog to share news and solicit opinions from village residents. The blog can be found here.
Rollings will be the second Trustee on the board to blog about village government issues. Trustee Kevin Buckley writes about village government and other local issues on his blog, Village Spillage.

In addition to her blog, Rollings said she also aims to enhance communication between the board and residents by holding regular office hours. She said she has not decided where the office hours will be held, but she will likely schedule them on Saturday afternoons.
“Frequent and open communication between residents and the Village is crucial to keeping the Village running as well as it possibly can,” Rollings said in an email. “That's why I'm launching these efforts.”
