How long have you lived in village? 22-1/2 years
Have you held political office? Current position as trustee. Elected once to complete an unfinished term (2009) and again (2010) to a full three-year term.
Related experience: Currently (and for the last four years ) Trustee of WFB Village Board and also (in the last year) member of the Community Development Authority.
Formerly member and president of WFB Advocates for Education; formerly member and president of Blue Dukes; formerly member of WFB Public Education Foundation; and formerly member of the WFB Planning Commission.
I also worked at Northwestern Mutual for nearly 20 years, managing professionals (mostly lawyers) and making tough financial and personnel decisions with respect the division I was in charge of. Prior to that I was a Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice.
My interest in current civic developments is reflected by the fact that I have been a Community Columnist for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for last few years. That program is coming to a close.
