Grassroots Northshore will host a Voter ID Forum from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Sunday, August 21, at North Shore Presbyterian Church, 4048 N. Bartlett Avenue, Shorewood. (Enter through Northeast Door). The event is open to the public.

The forum will address the facts of the new Wisconsin Voter ID law and the impact the law will have on voting and politics in the state. Presenters include Kevin Kennedy, Director and General Counsel, Wisconsin Government Accountability Board;  Renee Shavers, Assistant Director, American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin;  State Senator Chris Larson;  and Carolyn Castore, Representative, League of Women Voters of Milwaukee County. The program will be moderated by Jack Murtaugh, Co-Chair, 4th Street Forum Executive Committee.

Refreshments will be served.
