20th Crypto Case Confirmed By Health Department

The North Shore Health Department has confirmed a new case of cryptosporidium today, bringing the total number of cases to 20.

According to WISN 12 News, the cryptosporidium outbreak appeared to reach a standstill over the last week, as the last confirmed case was announced on Oct. 7.

The most recent case was exposed to a swimming facility in September, similar to the other cases that have been reported in the North Shore in recent weeks.
