Young Teens Admit to Graffiti Vandalism

Two families brought their boys to the police station in response to a village email about graffiti vandalism.

Three young teenage boys have admitted to spray painting several public buildings in Whitefish Bay.

The village issued an alert yesterday about recent graffiti vandalism in the Klode Park restroom, Klode Park playground equipment, Silver Spring Park, the library restroom, a fire hydrant, and the athletic bleachers at Whitefish Bay High School.

In response to the village email, two families each brought their young teenage sons into the police department to admit their involvement. A third young teenage boy was identified based on information received from a caller. That boy also admitted his involvement during an interview with police.

All parents were extremely cooperative with the police in this investigation, according to village officials. All three boys are being referred to the Milwaukee County Children's Center for a review of potential charges.
