$5,200 Rolex Stolen From Bay Couple

Police say a 26-year-old woman met the victims' son in a drug rehab program, then stole the watch and jewelry and sold them in West Allis.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman is accused of stealing a $5,200 Rolex watch and jewelry from a Whitefish Bay couple’s home.

Jolyn M. McCarron was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Wednesday with one count of theft of more than $5,000 in value. If convicted, she faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

On Sept. 25, the couple contacted the Whitefish Bay Police Department after they noticed a $5,275 women’s Rolex and some jewelry had gone missing from their home. The couple said McCarron had been in the home three days just prior to the items going missing, saying she’s a friend of her son and they met in a drug rehabilitation program.

McCarron denied taking the items, but officers discovered she had sold the watch and a pair of earrings to a West Allis jewelry store on Sept. 28.

McCarron is currently out of custody and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.
