Police Report: Drunk Driving, Vehicle Accidents

Whitefish Bay police cited two drunk drivers, a vodka thief and a driver who hit a traffic light on Silver Spring Drive.

Whitefish Bay police cited two drunk drivers in the past week:

  • A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving and possessing open intoxicants after her vehicle was pulled over at Diversey Boulevard and Lexington Boulevard at 6:22 p.m. Saturday.
  • A man was cited with drunken driving at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday in the 5100 block of Santa Monica Boulevard. His blood alcohol levels measured 0.09.

Stolen vodka

  • A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was pulled over on Hampton Road and Anita Avenue for a registration violation at 4:48 p.m. Friday. The woman was also cited for stealing a $42 bottle of vodka from CVS Pharmacy, 240 E. Hampton Rd. 

Traffic signal struck

  • A 76-year-old Muskego man drove his vehicle into a traffic signal on Silver Spring Drive at Lydell Avenue at 11:14 p.m. Saturday. He appeared confused and disoriented and was transported to Columbia St. Mary's. He was cited for imprudent speed and operating without required lamps.

Vehicle hits tree, electrical pole

  • A vehicle driven by a 41-year-old Fox Point woman spun out and struck a parkway tree and electrical pole at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the 6200 blk of Lake Drive.
